The anatomy of the human foot is a complex, weight-bearing structure composed of 26-28 bones, 33 joints, and over 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Divided into the hindfoot, midfoot, and forefoot, it supports body weight, allows for bipedal gait, and adapts to uneven terrain.
